About

Founder of VERE GOLDEN JOURNEY

Lizanne Leclair

She is a deeply rooted healer, teacher, and advocate whose journey blends Indigenous wisdom, trauma-informed care, and holistic wellness. With mixed ancestry and ancestral ties to Nova Scotia, she has spent nearly two decades walking a path of ceremony, healing, and community service, following the Anishnaabe traditional way of life.

As founder of Vere: Golden Journey, Lizanne offers a rich tapestry of services—from energy work and Amazonian medicine to intuitive art therapy and cultural workshops—guided by teachings from elders and her own lived experience. Her work uplifts individuals and communities, fostering pride, resilience, and spiritual connection.

  • 🌿 Professional Foundations

Since 1996, Lizanne has worked in public services, guiding youth through critical stages of development. Her early dedication included six years of volunteer service with VOICCS and international outreach in Costa Rica. She’s also served as a Girl Guide Leader, gymnastics coach, and childcare support worker—roles that reflect her deep commitment to youth and community.

  • 🎨 Healing Through Art

In 2010, Lizanne began integrating Art Therapy into her work, especially with at-risk youth. She’s participated in workshops like Divine Feminine and Art & Soul, and created her signature program, The Art of Letting Go—a series of eight workshops focused on emotional healing through creative expression.

  • 🔥 Sacred Practice & Holistic Services

Lizanne founded Vere: Golden Journey in 2015, offering holistic services across Sudbury and Manitoulin Island. Her offerings include Etheric Clearing, Chakra Balancing, Card Readings, Drum Circles, and ceremonies rooted in Indigenous and Amazonian traditions. She is certified in Reiki, Shamballa, Ho’oponopono, and is a carrier of Kambo, Hapé, and Sananga medicines.

  • 🌎 Cultural Wisdom & Community Leadership

With mixed ancestry, Lizanne’s path is shaped by ceremony, elder teachings, and cultural stewardship. She follows the Anishnaabe traditional way of life and has participated in Sundance, Raindance, and Water Walks, while actively supporting Indigenous wellness initiatives. Her training spans trauma-informed care, emotional coaching, and mental health advocacy, making her a powerful voice for healing and empowerment.
